Questions For The Captain

Frequently Asked Questions

A boat cruise out on Lake Norman sounds great, right? But we know you may have questions that are holding you down like an anchor, preventing you from feeling the sweet breeze and gentle sunlight from caressing your face. Good thing we have answers that will make you say “full speed ahead!” Take a look below at the most common questions folks have about our cruises.

We do not serve alcohol on our cruises; however, you are welcome to bring your own beer, wine, or champagne. While we bring island vibes to every trip, we are travelling on North Carolina inland waterways, and that means liquor is not permitted. Just remember, if you can buy it from a grocery store, you can bring it on our cruise. If you have to buy it from an ABC store, you need to leave it at home.

The captain evaluates conditions and makes a final decision about 30 minutes before departure. If the cruise is canceled due to weather, guests receive a rain check valid for one year. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations.

Cancellations made at least 72 hours before your scheduled cruise qualify for a full refund.
